Five bright green avo wedges get tossed in a seasoned batter, gently deep fried, and lovingly placed on a wooden board with a smear of our homemade chipotle aioli sauce. Crunch meets creamy and the sauce adds a slight kick to the flavor.
Back in mid-June we embarked on our first official community fundraiser and set an ambitious goal of $1000 to help end hunger. Nana joined forces with the Greater Chicago Food Depository and the Benton House Food Pantry to collect as many dollars from our diners for this meaningful cause.
